North Star Golf Club is Alaska's/America's Northernmost USGA golf course. It's Alaska's best links golf course and is now closed for the season as of Sunday 9/25/11. Midnight golf is over for this season but there are still plenty of daylight hours to enjoy your golfing experience here.

North Star may be the only golf course that includes an Animal Checklist on its scorecard. Our open grassy meadows attract a large variety of native Alaskan species. The red backed voles colonize the deep rough, attracting a host of small predators such as hawks, owls, eagles, and red fox. Sandhill cranes watch you putt.
It is very rare to see a lynx, however one was spotted in 2001 stalking (and catching) ducks in the ponds scattered throughout the course. Moose are often seen in the wetlands near the back 9, usually late night or early morning.
