Welcome to North Star Golf Club!!
North Star Golf Club, North America's Northernmost USGA course, is Alaska's great links style golf course. We offer VISITOR SPECIALS that include 9 or 18 holes of golf, golf cart, clubs, towel, logo ball, and certificate.
North Star may be the only golf course that includes an animal checklist on its scorecard. Our open grassy meadows attract a large variety of native Alaskan species. The red backed voles colonize the deep rough, attracting a host of small predators such as hawks, owls, eagles, and red fox. Sandhill cranes watch you putt.
It is very rare to see a lynx, however one was spotted in 2001 stalking (and catching) ducks in the ponds scattered throughout the course. Moose are often seen in the wetlands near the back 9, usually late night or early morning.
